Amrita School of Engineering (ASE), Coimbatore was founded on 27 October 1994. It is part of Amrita University located in Ettimadai, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, ASE is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) constituted by AICTE, Government of India

- Earlier it was known as Amrita Institute of Technology and Science offering offers B.Tech. & M.Tech. Programmes in various disciplines affiliated to Amrita University.
